PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical and epoch-making three-dimensional laser beam machining method, by which highly precise machining equivalent to press working is possible by controlling the movement along a modified cutting line so as to correspond with the shape of a primarily machined workpiece even if the primarily machined workpiece has the undulations different from the designed undulation in the case of the three-dimensional laser beam machining for carrying-out the secondary machining by laser beam machining on the workpiece having undulations formed on its outside surface by primary machining, and further to provide a method for preparing an NC-program of the three-dimensional laser beam machining method. PSOLUTION: The three-dimensional shape of the primarily machined workpiece is measured beforehand. The reverse curved surface of the primarily machined workpiece is formed based on the three-dimensional measurement data. A modified cutting line on the reversed curved surface is obtained by projecting and connecting each point on the design cutting line of the designed curved surface of the primarily machined workpiece, which is obtained by three-dimensional CAD, to the reverse curved surface (including a polygon). The NC program is prepared using the modified cutting line. The secondary machining is carried out on the primarily machined workpiece by controlling the movement of the three-dimensional laser beam machine according to the the NC program.
