PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure whereby the connection work between a solar battery module and a terminal box is facilitated and the downsizing of the terminal box is not hindered and to provide the terminal box employing the connection structure. PSOLUTION: The connection structure is configured such that the terminal box contains therein output electric wires 6a, 6b of the solar battery module and terminal boards 11a, 11b, the two terminal boards include output electric wire support parts 13a, 13b being connected parts of the output electric wires, cable support parts 14a, 14b being connected parts of external connection cables, the external connection cable is connected to the cable support parts, the output electric wire support parts are located toward the surface of the box from a position of a center axis 23 of the cables, the output electric wires are provided with through-hole parts 15a, 15b, the output electric wire support parts are provided with through-hole parts 16a, 16b, and the through-hole parts of the output electric wires and the output electric wire support parts are matched and connected by drawing rivets to connect the output electric wires and the terminal boards.
