PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium with high cell survival race and protein productivity in particular among animal cell culture media containing fish meat extract or fish meat enzymatically hydrolyzed products.;SOLUTION: An additive for animal cell culture media comprises an enzymatically hydrolyzed product or extract of a mixture comprising the internal organs and normal meat of fish meat.
