PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for punching a double-coated adhesive sheet capable of artfully and finely cutting a double-coated adhesive sheet on a single- release-paper into dimension and shape with high precision.;SOLUTION: This method is for punching an adhesive layer 2 on the single- release-paper double-coated adhesive sheet 3 with a basic release paper 1 laminated by the adhesive layer 2 on one surface 1a thereof. A provisional release paper 6 having a number of independent small recessed portions 5 by successive small projections 4 is pressed on the adhesive layer 2 of the double-coated adhesive sheet to manufacture a sandwich sheet body 7. The adhesive layer 2 is cut into a given shape with a window simultaneously with the provisional release paper 6 of the sandwich sheet body 7.
