PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluid injection simulation method which verifies the sprayed state of an object to be sprayed, with a spray nozzle while reflecting the physical orbit of fluid injected from the spray nozzle. PSOLUTION: A bath model is made based on TIN data. Each vertex of the bath model is moved downward based on the distance from the spray nozzle and an expression of a gravity orbit. A part shaded by light from a light source arranged at the position of the spray nozzle is calculated by ray tracing calculation. Subsequently each vertex of the bath model, which has been moved downward, is returned to the original position. Visualization enables fluid injection simulation reflecting the physical orbit considering the influence of the gravity of washing liquid injected from the spray nozzle. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
