PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure easy sensing of vital signals and easy monitoring of outdoor vigorous motions such as sports even in the condition that the person concerned puts on a protecting means such as glove. SOLUTION: A protecting means 6 is equipped internally with a vital signal sensing means 7 and a calculating means 8 and also with a displaying means 9 on the exterior surface, and thereby it is possible to monitor various pieces of information in the condition that the person concerned is putting on the protecting means 6. The calculating means 8 calculates the chaos index and thereupon can quantify the person's physical and mental conditions more precisely than when conventional index is used.
