PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a musical score on which whether a note is "displayed" or "not displayed" is reflected.;SOLUTION: Musical display data includes attribute information indicating whether note symbols are displayed on a musical score. Referring to the attribute information makes it possible to determine whether notes are displayed on the musical score. Namely, the attribute information is defined so as to correspond to note information representing note symbols to be displayed on the musical score and notes are displayed or not displayed on the musical score according to display/non-display indications of the notes of the attribute information. Thus, the attribute information is defined in the musical score display data to indicate whether the notes are displayed or not, thereby easily displaying the musical score on which note display that a user intends can properly be reflected, position by position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
