PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high voltage, high current cut-off performance in a vacuum interrupter.;SOLUTION: Slits 5, 6 are formed from both end surfaces of a contact mount 1 of a contactor, the length L of the contact mount 1 and the number of slits 5, 6 are set based on the diameter D of the contact mount 1, and an angle αof the slits 5, 6 to the shaft line of the contact mount 1, an azimuth β of the slits 5, 6, and an azimuth γ between the slits 5, 6 are set in due consideration of strength, a generated magnetic flux density, and the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
