TOUCH PANEL INPUT APPARATUS WITH OSCILLATION IMPARTING FUNCTION, AND OSCILLATION IMPARTING METHOD TO OPERATION INPUT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel input apparatus with a function to impart oscillation and oscillation imparting method to operation input which realize conveying oscillation of an FFB to an operator well without performing complicated operation when the touch panel is used as a loudspeaker.;SOLUTION: The oscillation imparting method for operation input has two modes, an FFB mode for responding to contact from the operator to the touch panel 13 and performing force feedback and a loudspeaker mode for generating voice by oscillating the touch panel 13. When operating actions such as bringing a finger near the touch panel 13 while setting up the loudspeaker mode are detected by an infrared sensor 11, a CPU 1 automatically changes the mode setting into the FFB mode, and thus a mode is changed and the oscillation of the FFB can surely be conveyed to the operator without operating a hardware key different from the touch panel 13 when the touch panel 13 is used as a loudspeaker.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
