PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing a hollow tube in or after corrosion-proof construction, in which the strength of the hollow tube in a part provided with an opening is increased so that the occurrence of partial buckling can be prevented.;SOLUTION: This method for reinforcing the hollow tube 1 in the corrosion- proof construction is characterized as follows: the opening 2 is provided in the outer peripheral surface of the hollow tube 1; in the corrosion-proof construction of the hollow tube 1 for injecting and discharging a corrosion-proof material, a reinforcing material 3, which is composed of paired upper and lower circular rings 4 and vertical frames 5 which are arranged between the circular rings 4 at an interval in a circumferential direction and welded to the circular rings 4, is arranged around the opening 2 of the hollow tube 1; and the circular rings 4 and the vertical frames 5 are welded to the outer peripheral surface of the hollow tube 1, so that the periphery of the opening 2 of the hollow tube 1 can be reinforced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
