PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a request for reducing generating industrial waste by attaining reuse by separating mud generated by a slurry-thickening system or high density slurry type pipe jacking method into muddy water and sediment.;SOLUTION: A mud classifier 13 used for a muddy water type pipe jacking method is used in sludge processing equipment 10 by the slurry-thickening system type or high density slurry type pipe jacking method. A shower device 24 is added to the mud classifier 13. Nozzle ports 26 to 30 are arranged in the shower device 24. The nozzle ports 26 and 27 sprinkle water on mud on a primary separating mesh screen 17. The nozzle port 28 sprinkles water on the mud on a guiding gutter 19 guided to a vibrating sieve 15 from an outlet of a screw feeder 12.
