PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing apparatus wherein disposal is easy and cushioning performance is excellent without holding a weak part of a packed object. SOLUTION: A cushioning material 2 comprises a first cushioning material 2a including flaps 5, 11, 15 along four sides of a rectangular side plate with two creases closely formed approximately at a center of the flaps 5, 11, 15, a second cushioning material 2b-including flaps on at least two opposite sides of a rectangular side plate 19 similar to the side plate of the first cushioning material 2a with a crease formed approximately at the center of each flap and a first elastic leg formed by the flap of the second cushioning material 2b. An L-shaped laminate corrugated fiberboard cushioning material 2c having side faces 2c1 and a rear part 2c2 respectively in contact with side faces and a rear face of a packed object formed by laminating and sticking sheet materials such as corrugated fiberboards is placed between the second cushioning material 2b and the object.
