PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel correction mechanism of an automatic handler for TAB for preventing a TAB tape from being rolled up or preventing a device tape and a spacer tape from being step wound on each other by preventing a carrier reel from being deformed.;SOLUTION: This correction mechanism is structured so as to correct a deformation of a reel of the automatic handler for TAB. In the correction mechanism, a pair of slide blocks 1-2 each equipped with two roll shafts 1-4 are movably disposed in a block 1-1 formed in the body of the correction mechanism. Two roll shafts for each of the pair of slide blocks prevent a pair of edge parts of the reel from being deformed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
