PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image read and forming device that can form the best image, even an image read and transferred by an image read function is again received from an external image. SOLUTION: In the case of using an image read function, an image processing control section 5 controls an image processing section 2 so as to inhibit the processing depending on an imaging section 3. Then an interface section 4 transfers an image subjected to proceeding by the image processingsection 2, other than the processing of the imagine section 3 to an external device 11. In the case of using an imaging function, the image process control section 5 controls the image processing section 2, to conduct the processing in response to the imaging section 3. Then the interface section 4 receives the image transferred from the external device 11, gives it to the image processing section 2 to apply the processing, in response to the imaging section 3 to the image and the imaging section 3 forms the image Thus, the imaging section 3 can form best image.
