PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and inexpensive oil adsorbing cartridge for adequately removing oil in a liquid, an oil-water separator, and a method of separating oil from water using the oil adsorbing cartridge.;SOLUTION: In the oil adsorbing cartridge 3, a polluted water flow along the inside surface of the cartridge body 5 flows faster than the polluted water flow amid an oil adsorbent 7. Hence, the cartridge 3 is provided with an oil catcher 8, which is an annular member to check the polluted water flow along the inside surface of the cartridge body 5. The polluted water can thereby flow substantially uniformly in the oil adsorbent 7 filled in the cartridge body 5, thus effectively adsorbing the oil in the polluted water to the oil adsorbent 7 for removing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
