PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system which suppresses repeat access requests from a client terminal of a user who desires to receive the information provision, to a server computer of a company which desires to provide the information, and makes a load of the server not excessive.;SOLUTION: The information providing system is provided with; a browser which controls a repeat access request at a client side; a means to disregard the user's access request by controlling the repeat access request, especially, the repeat access request of information data which change every moment by time, to a request frequency set in the browser; and further, a means to make it possible to narrow down the amount of communication data by excluding the data such as HTML (hyper text markup language) tab for sending of information data from the server by preparing entry columns indicating these information data in the browser.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
