PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a slave timepiece of a radio master-and-slave timepiece system out of the range of electric waves sent by a master timepiece, if the master timepiece is only able to send weak wave outputs.;SOLUTION: The master-and-slave timepiece system 1 is provided which is capable of correcting time from the master timepiece 2 to a plurality of slave timepieces 3A, 3B and 3C in a relayed fashion. Each of the slave timepieces 3A, 3B and 3C includes a receiving means 31 for receiving time information; a correcting means 33 for correcting its own time based on this time information received; a transmitting means 38 for sending time information for correcting the time of the other slave timepieces based on its own time corrected; and a rank control means 37A for providing rank information to the transmitting means so that the time information to be sent is transmitted while the rank information for distinguishing the time information to be sent from the received time information is added to the time information to be sent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
