PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and raise up repeated grain culms without omission and not to leave the culms unreaped even if the right and left horizontal state of a machine body is lost and a reaping part is inclined when a reaping operation is carried out in an ill-drained paddy field. ;SOLUTION: In a reaping part equipped with a longitudinal rotation type culm separating case 4 in front of a lateral rotation type raising up case 2 and with a culm separating plate 5 at the forefront part, the culm separating plate 5 and the culm separating case 4 are vertically adjustably constituted. In the constitution, only the culm separating plate 5 attached to the reaping part at the left side of a machine body and the culm separating case 4 may be vertically movable or the culm separating plate 5 and the culm separating case 4 may be vertically moved by linking a vertically moving device to the plate 5 and the case 4 by the detection of a floating perception sensor S of the reaping part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
