PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing a 2-coating/1-baking finishing coating film which can produce a repair identical with regard to hue and molecular orientation of grittering agent. ;SOLUTION: In a method of repairing by employing a manual air spray coating method a 2-coating/1-baking finishing coating film for a car which has been formed by forming a base coating film containing a glittering agent and overlaying thereon a clear lacquer film as required by an electrostatic coating method and effecting bakingand-drying thereof at a time, a base coating material consisting of an electrostatic coating base coating material having 0.01-0.1wt.% of finely powdered silica added thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
