PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing solution which suppresses ink stain in the repetition of the stopping of a machine and reprinting for a planographic printing plate using an aluminum plate as the substrate and utilizing a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process and to particularly provide a finishing solution or a starter solution which persistently prevents the stain of a non-image area even after printing and a photomechanical process using the solution. ;SOLUTION: The finishing solution or the starter solution for a planographic printing plate using an aluminum plate as the substrate and utilizing silver complex salt diffusion transfer contains one or more amines not having an acid group or a hydroxyl group.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
