PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newly inventive whirl-stop device with which compression effect can be gained by securely holding an orbital motion scroll member at unrotational state for a static scroll member as well as making the orbital motion scroll member to revolve around the static scroll member.;SOLUTION: The whirl-stop device 90 is comprised of at least one whirl-stop assembly with the first bearing member 92 installed in a static state for the static scroll member, the second bearing member 94 installed in the orbital motion scroll member and an offset crank member 100. The offset crank shaft member has the first shaft part 102 engaged permitting to rotate in the first bearing member and the second shaft part 104, radially got out of position parallel to the first shaft part by the distance equal to the orbital radius and engaged permitting to rotate in the second bearing member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
