PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a checking meter, a checking system and a checking method which can certainly check consumption quantities of gas and electricity at a lower cost.;SOLUTION: The checking system of the invention is provided with a checking meter 10, a terminal 30, an accounting center 20. The communication terminal 30 and the accounting center 20 are connected to a communication line network 40 in this system. The checking meter 10 is provided with a checking portion 11, a memory 12, a calendar clock 13, a cryptograph 14 to compose the predetermined code mark from the checking quantity and the like, a checking switch 15, and a display portion 16 to display the checking data.
