PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide decision control of a path passing through the nodes of a network.;SOLUTION: The method for routing data, through a network of nodes interconnected by links and having at least one inlet point and one outlet point, comprises a step of accepting a request for a path having a service demand of data routing between the inlet point and outlet point, a step of selecting a set of one or a plurality of intermediate nodes between the inlet point and outlet point, a step of determining each fraction of the data being sent from the inlet point to each node of the set of one or a plurality of intermediate nodes, based on the bandwidth of the network, a step of routing the data from the inlet point to each node of the set of one or a plurality of intermediate nodes with each fraction thus determined, and a step of routing the data from each node of the set of one or a plurality of intermediate nodes to the outlet point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
