PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode and an electrical short-circuit prevention process for electrolytic protection of a reinforced concrete structure.;SOLUTION: The electrode for the electrolytic protection of the reinforced concrete structure is a longitudinally drawn wire electrode whose one end is covered with an electrically insulating mesh material that follows the shape of the end. This prevents embedded reinforcements, etc. from being exposed when forming an electrode groove on a concrete surface of the concrete structure and therefore prevents electrical short-circuit caused by contact between the wire electrode with the reinforcements, etc. when placing the wire electrode in the electrode groove.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
