PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration diagnostic method for a waterproof sheet which can accurately collect a sampling and deters propagation of cracks so as to effectively prevent a water-leakage accident.;SOLUTION: A waterproof sheet sampling tool 3 with a ring-shaped flat surface having a sheet joining layer 32 on at least the surface of a rigid substrate 31 of the tool is prepared in advance. When laying the waterproof sheet 1 on a surface Ma to be waterproofed of the structure body M, the water proof sheet sampling tool 3 is fixed on the surface Ma to be waterproofed. In diagnosing deterioration of the waterproof sheet, a part of the existing waterproof sheet 1 is cut off as a sample, using the waterproof sheet sampling tool 3 as a guide. The hole 11 formed after cutting off is covered with a repairing waterproof sheet 10 and furthermore the periphery of the repairing waterproof sheet 10 is joined to the waterproof sheet 1 on the outer side area of the hole 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
