PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform dial call origination by an appropriate communication system without complicated operations by a user in a communication start method for a communication device performing communications using a plurality of communication systems, and a recording medium with its control program recorded thereon.;SOLUTION: When a memory number is inputted and call origination is instructed by an operation part 8, a main control part 11 reads a communication system corresponding to the memory number from a storage part 10, selects one of a first radio part 2 and a second radio part 4 corresponding to the read communication system, controls the selected first radio part 2 or second radio part 4 to start a wireless connection with a first radio base station B or a second radio base station C according to a predetermined communication protocol, and performs dial call origination based on telephone number data read from the storage part 10 on the basis of the memory number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
