PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge a fed paper such as a signature formed by a folding machine in a newspaper press with a simple structure in a proper state in a paper discharging impeller suitable used for orderly transferring the signature on a paper discharge conveyor.;SOLUTION: This paper discharging impeller 1 comprises a plurality of blades 6, and receives fed paper sheets 4 fed in order from a previous process into a space between the plurality of blades 6 and discharges the paper sheets to a later process. The runner further comprises a gripper 8 for holding the fed paper sheets 4 received in the space between the plurality of blades 6 and an opening and closing mechanism 50 for opening and closing the gripper 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
