PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an automobile seat in a way that a lock function can work with high reliability even after a comparatively long-time use.;SOLUTION: A backing part is pivoted to a seat part with a connection fitting 2 between the seat part and the backing part, and can be locked in an upright using position and in a frontward reclining condition. This automobile seat has an operating device 3 for unlocking, and releases the lock for sliding the seat part frontward. A lock area 4c for the frontward reclining condition is equipped with a fastener grip port 4b for gripping an opposite area 5 from a rear face.
