PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb and buffer the shock energy of falling matters while preventing degrading of quality by stacking a plurality of shock absorbing units formed of a bag-shaped shock absorber container and lumps of shock absorbers made of styrolfoam stored therein closedly, on the upper part or side part of an object to be protected. ;SOLUTION: A shock absorber container 21 formed of a thin member comprises a rectangular main body 22a formed of fiber members made of synthetic resin fiber; and two projections 22b, 22c protruding from one side of the main body 22a. The container 21 has two independent bag-shaped spaces or accommodation chambers 25a, 25b, inside charging openings 26a, 26b, which chambers 25a, 25b are formed by sewing the centeral part of the main body 22a as well as the peripheral edges except the uppermost edges of the protrusions 22b, 22c. After cushion members made of lumps of styrofoam which is less in its degrading caused by ultraviolet rays and moisture or water are charged form the openings 26a, 26b, the projections 22a, 22b are closed by strings 27a-27d to form a shock absorbing unit 11. By stacking a plurality of shock absorbing units 11 on an upper part of an object to be protected, the shock energy of falling matter can be absorbed and attenuated surely.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
