PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame fully applicable to a prefabricated house and the like by incorporating into it buckling restraining braces being structurally simple and excellent in productivity and executability for cost reduction.;SOLUTION: The frame has the buckling restraining braces 10 and 10 extended between structural members. The brace 10 comprises a core 12 exerted with tensile and compressive forces and inserted into a stiffening member 11, and spacers 13, 13 and so forth each made of, e.g. a metallic extrusion molding, and intervening between the stiffening member 11 and the core 12. The spacers 13, 13 and so forth are mounted on the core 12 as they are axially spaced from one another so that the shrinkage allowances L, L and so forth of the core 12 are dispersed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
