PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a program therefor which can estimate, from a Japanese text being inputted by a user, the meaning of its sentence, and can be useful also for identifying a spot where a speaker changes in the text conversion of proceedings, by using a database storing concord pairs forming "concord" in a Japanese sentence. PSOLUTION: A computer receives the input of Japanese text data, outputs the received Japanese text data, at a stage, when input of a prescribed call element is detected in the text data whose input is being received; classifies the set of concord pairs pairing a call element with a response element forming the concord among two words cooccurring in a Japanese natural sentence for each call element; searches a concord pair database storing a response element, corresponding to the call element having semantic information which indicates the meaning of the response element added; extracts one or more kinds of the semantic information on a response element which can be inputted after the call element; and outputs the semantic information before a response element is inputted after the call element.
