PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely monitor sea salt particles having deposited on a radioactive material storage vessel and clean them.;SOLUTION: Laser is irradiated on the outer surface of the storage vessel 1 wherein sea salt particles (radioactive material) 101 are contained and sealed. The sea salt particles having deposited on the outer surface are blast-removed and cleaned. The removed sea salt particles are sucked and carried to a measurement head 24. Laser is irradiated on the sea salt particles in the measurement head 24 and the concentration of the sea salt particles is measured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
