PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time evidence generation device capable of time verification wherein time alteration is difficult.;SOLUTION: The time evidence generation device has; a random number generation part 14 for generating random numbers; a time generation part 13 for distributing time information; an initial time evidence information storage part 12 which acquires random numbers from the random number generation part 14 to hold them together with a given link value and outputs the held link value and random numbers together with distributed information in response to distribution of the time information from the time generation part 13; a hash value generation part 15 for generating a time evidence value from the outputted time information, link value, and random numbers; a time evidence value input/output part 17 which supplies the generated time evidence value as the link value and transmits the generated latest time evidence value to an external device 2 in response to a distribution request from the external device 2; and a time evidence storage part 18 which stores the generated time evidence value together with random number and time information which are used to generate the time evidence value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
