PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rise adjustable type outside PC steel material construction method which can easily alter the rise of a PC steel material according to a load acting on a beam for controlling the deflection of the beam. ;SOLUTION: A side face on One or both sides of a middle part of a beam 12 is provided with at least one movable support device 20 for a PC steel material 16, and an end fixture is severally attached to a pillar having the joined beam 12 or a beam or a floor near said pillar, and a jack 23 is provided between a guide 21 movable in a forward direction of the beam of the movable support device and the lower face of a floor 13, and an interval between the guide 21 and the lower face of the floor 13 is adjusted to a value corresponding to a load acting on the beam 12 by the function of the jack 23 to engage the long PC steel material 16 in a receiving part 21a of the guide 21 and that of the end fixture, and tension force is thereby led into the PC steel material to fix the end part of the PC steel material to the end fixture for keeping a state having the tension force led into the PC steel material. Thus a deflection of a beam of a large span structure large in the variation of a loaded load such as a warehouse can be properly controlled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
