PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advantageous production method of fillers for a liquid chromatography having a sufficient retention force enough to allow polychlorinated biphenyls or fullerenes to be separated. PSOLUTION: Silylation agent having a polycyclic aromatic functional group with 5 to 10 fused rings is made to react with hydroxyl group on the surfaces of carriers, stationary phase having the aromatic functional group is made to be formed on the surfaces of the carriers, thereby producing the fillers for liquid chromatography of the polychlorinated biphenyls or fullerenes.
