PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car radio receiver listening state investigation system by which a listening state of a car radio receiver is accurately investigated. ;SOLUTION: Each vehicle 1 records measurement data, including characteristics quantity and a measurement period of a reproduced audio signal of a car radio receiver over a prescribed time, at a prescribed measurement start time that comes once around without fail e.g. for one minute and later sends the data to an investigation center 4 altogether. A broadcast reception station 3 generates master data by station, including a characteristics quantity and a measurement period of a reproduced audio signal of a tuner 32 for receiving an object radio station over a prescribed time for each prescribed measurement start time the same as each vehicle and sends the data to the investigation center 4. A station-dependent master DB 43 of the investigation center 4, and a characteristics quantity of each measurement period in the measured data sent from each vehicle 1 is compared with characteristics quantity of the master data at the same measurement period of each station to discriminate a listening station a each measurement period of each vehicle 1. A clock for each vehicle 1 and the broadcast reception transmission 3 is in synchronism with a reference time of a GPS satellite.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
