PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer overvoltage suppressing equipment which suppresses the generation of an overvoltage generated, when a transformer is electrically cut off from a power system or a three-phase power source, or suppresses generated overvoltage, and contributes to the enhancement in the reliability of the transformer. ;SOLUTION: Switches 26, 27, 28 for switching line currents are installed in windings 10, 11, 12 delta-connected. When a transformer is electrically cut off from a power system or a three-phase power source, the switches 26, 27, 28 electrically cut off the connecting points of the windings 10, 11, 12 connected in delta at the same time or before the windings 13, 14, 15 connected in delta are electrically cut off from a power system of a three-phase power source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
