PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing supporting structure for supporting a driving shaft of a variable displacement swash plate type compressor capable of smoothly rotating the driving shaft and preventing friction damage, and enabling to accurately and easily assemble.;SOLUTION: Relative relations of every inner and outer diameter between a fixed race and a driving race, a size of an outer diameter of the driving shaft, a bore of a cylinder, and both of the races are incarnated. A following expression Lr1Lr2, where a clearance Lr1 between an inner diameter of the fixed race and an outer diameter of the driving shaft is larger than a clearance Lr2 between an outer diameter of the fixed race and a center bore surface 4a, is satisfied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
