PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding and printing control device, a bookbinding and printing processing system, a bookbinding and printing control method, a storage medium, and a program enabling to realize a more flexible bookbinding and printing function with a cover and to easily obtain a bookbinding cover desired by a user. PSOLUTION: A spool file manager 304 of a host computer 3000 constituting a printing system calculates the number of pages to be printed on the cover when the bookbinding and printing with the cover is carried out by a printer 1500, layouts the pages onto the cover in response to the total number of pages of printing data, layouts the remaining pages onto papers except the cover, and controls the generation of printing data to be sent finally to the printer 1500 based on the layout printing data.
