PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing an acrylic fiber mayer blanket having rugged surface patterns which have a high-grade feel while satisfying the quality required for the blanket without hardening the recessed parts. ;CONSTITUTION: Pile yarn which is pile yarn consisting of blended yarn of 100% acrylic fibers or contg. ≥60wt.% acrylic fibers and of which the average fineness of single fibers constituting the pile yarn is ≤1.5 denier and in which the number of the single fibers is ≥200 is used. After the pile yarn is woven by a double raschel knitting machine, the central part of the pile yarn is cut, by which the raw fabric of the one-side pile cloth is obtd. The pile surface of the one-side pile cloth is printed by printing glue contg. an acrylic fiber solvent of ethylene carbonate or propylene carbonate and thereafter the pile yarn of the printed cloth is subjected to a finishing treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
