Methods and apparatus to setup end-to-end flows in wireless mesh networks

Methods and apparatus to setup end-to-end flows in wireless mesh networks are disclosed. A disclosed example method of performing a distributed flow setup for a wireless mesh network comprises receiving a broadcast setup request for a wireless data stream at a first wireless mesh point of the wireless mesh network; determining if the requested wireless data stream is acceptable at the first wireless mesh point based upon at least one of a resource allocation table associated with the first wireless mesh point or a resource schedule table associated with the first wireless mesh point; sending a wireless data stream setup acceptance if the requested wireless data stream is acceptable; and updating the at least one of the resource allocation table associated with the first wireless mesh point or the resource schedule table associated with the first wireless mesh point to reflect the requested wireless data stream if the wireless data stream is accepted by the first wireless mesh point.
