Refrigerator cubicle has refrigerated blocks, and solar panels or photovoltaic modules generating solar energy during the sunshine hours. A sensor permits recharging a battery (8) using natural as well as artificial light. The solar energy is stored in the battery. A socket (5) is provided for an alternating current connection and a plug (4) is connected on a cigar lighter to recharge the battery.
