The gown has a neckline (38, 40), and left and right side panels (3, 4) respectively forming left and right sleeves (6, 7). The panels can be crossed over one another in a crossing area which is delimited by two crossing lines. Removable closing units (34a, 34b, 35a, 35b) of the back of the gown are placed along the lines. V-shaped indentations (44) are placed at armholes in areas located under the sleeves. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) use of a patient gown in treatment centers such as hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers or medicalized retirement homes, for patients (B) an emergency hospitalization kit including a patient gown.
