The device has a retaining ring including a plane transversal wall (3) pierced of a flow-through opening (5) of a nipple and an internally tapered lateral apron (2). A lower part of the apron is extended by a tamper evident ring (8) connected to the apron by a sectional connection plate. The ring has an annular projection (11) comprising upper and lower sides. The device is made of high density polyethylene. An independent claim is also included for a feeding bottle having a nipple.
