"PROCESS FOR RECOVERY OF NICKEL AND COBALT BY LOW COLUMN CONTAINING OF NICKEL OR COBALT IN LOW GRADE". A process for the recovery of nickel and cobalt from laterite ores, the process including the steps of: (a) benefiting the ore to separate it into a beneficiated high grade ore fraction and a silicon low grade scrap fraction crude which is substantially free of clay materials and ore powders; (b) separately processing the high grade ore fraction for nickel and cobalt recovery and (c) subjecting the low grade scrap fraction to one column leaching process for other nickel and cobalt recovery processing.
