The invented connecting method is characterized in that after excavation of a starting pit (2) and a handling trench (1) there is carried out boring and then enlarging a pilot hole with simultaneous drawing in of piping sections (3) wherein there simultaneously act an axial force produced by a rig (4) that draws into the borehole (17) a pulling head (15) along with the piping and a force produced by a piston of a hydraulic chain stretcher (18) to finally press and seal the connection of the pulling head (15) with the piping. Device for making the method consists of a rig (4) having a pulling head (15). A pulling suspension (13), provided from the pulling head (15) inner side with a shackle (16), passes through the pulling head (15) top. A tow chain (7), passing through all pulled piping sections (3) and being connected with the piston (20) of the hydraulic chain stretcher (8), is connected to said shackle (16) wherein said piston (20) of the hydraulic chain stretcher (8) bears via a thrust ring (19) against the socket of the last piping section (3) being pulled.
