The present invention concerns a method for prophylactic and/or therapeutic vaccination and/or treatment and/or diagnosis of HIV/AIDS, other infectious diseases, inflammatory and angiogenic diseases and tumours, using a pharmaceutical composition comprising isolated native, substantially monomeric, and biologically active HIV-1 Tat, fragments or derivatives thereof, which have auxiliary activity and combined or bound to an antigen of tumor cell or to a molecule of pathogen antigen different from HIV or to Env HIV or peptide thereof. Tat HIV protein, fragments or derivates thereof are selectively targeted in the inventive pharmaceutical composition at anti-gene presenting cells (APC) expressing the 51 and v3 integrins and are dendritic cells, endothelial cells and macrophages, bound to such cells, take up in them and induce the maturation or anti-gene presenting function of said cells.
