摘要
The application describes a process for converting oxygen-containing substances to olefins in a fluidized bed reactor, which involves removing catalyst fines from sharply cooled vapor effluent stream by contacting them with low catalyst fines liquid, such as oxygen-containing starting material or water as a by-product from the process converting oxygen-containing substances to olefins, which is stripped and / or filtered. This method includes contacting the source material, including the oxygen-containing substance, with a catalyst, including a molecular sieve, under conditions effective for the formation of a deactivated catalyst, having carbonaceous deposits, and a product, including olefins; separating the deactivated catalyst from the product to produce an isolated vaporous product that includes catalyst fines; quenching this separated vaporous product with a liquid medium, including water and catalyst fines, in an amount sufficient to produce a light product fraction, including light olefins and catalyst fines, and heavy product fractions, including water, heavier hydrocarbons and catalyst fines; processing the fraction of light products by contacting with a liquid that is substantially free of catalyst fines, to obtain a fraction of light products with a lower content of catalyst fines, and a liquid fraction with a high content of fines; the compression of the fraction of light products with a reduced content of catalyst fines; and the separation of light olefins from the compressed fraction of light products.
