EXCITATION VOLTAGE REGULATOR FOR MODERN ONE-PHASE, THREE PHASE OR MULTI-PHASE AC POWER GENERATING ENGINES

The disclosed herein excitation voltage regulator is designed to constantly control the output voltage of a modern ac power generator and thereby to influence the excitation voltage so that the active output voltage is maintained at the desired value with no influence of the alternating output voltage frequency. This voltage regulator is protected against overcharges and it may function with one-phase generator, several one-phase generators disposing central excitation control, three-phase generator and a multi-phase generator too. Being an electronic circuit and influencing the excitation voltage of the generator, the voltage regulator in question exhibits very little losses and great performance; it is able to work at great voltage whileremaining very small in dimensions.
