CHAOS THEORETICAL BRAIN FUNCTION DIAGNOSIS APPARATUS

An apparatus for applying a load to a function part of a body of a person (20) to be examined, receiving a reaction from the body of the person being examined as electric signals (40, 50, 60, 70), and analyzing the electric signals (40, 50, 60, 70), thereby diagnosing the brain function of the person (20) being examined. The electric signals (40, 50, 60, 70) are a speech signal (40), a nystagmographic signal (50), a pulse signal (60), and a center−of−gravity oscillation signal (70). At least two of them are selected to calculate chaologic index such as Liapnov exponent by the chaologic method. The variation of the chaologic index according to the time is detected, thereby evaluating/diagnosing the overall brain function.
